Fancy a day of world-class piano at Stoller Hall? Join Day Three of Chetham’s International Piano Summer School to watch RNCM young artists, attend expert lectures and open lessons, build performance skills and connect with fellow pianists.
Day Three of Chetham’s International Piano Summer School 2026 takes place at Stoller Hall in central Manchester on Friday 14 August. It is part of a wider summer school running from 12-22 August, bringing together world-class musicians, lectures, open lessons and daily recitals in a supportive environment for music lovers and piano students.
The day begins with a Young Artist’s Recital featuring students from the Royal Northern College of Music, followed later in the afternoon by a lecture with Douglas Finch on improvisation and musical creativity. The evening programme continues with solo recitals by Alicja Fiderkiewicz and Benjamin Frith, offering a full day of classical piano performance.
Seating is unallocated, and the venue opens half an hour before each public performance. The page also notes that access requirements can be discussed with the box office, and that students/U18s benefit from concession pricing on some sessions, including free entry for certain events.
