This pathway is for volunteers who are interested in pursuing a career within the NHS. It combines volunteering placements with an additional in-house training course designed to give candidates valuable information, skills, knowledge and support as they think about their future career.
Placements are available across both the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital sites, and participants need to complete a minimum of 50 hours volunteering as well as attend five evening training sessions. The next cohort begins in February 2027, and applications are currently being accepted from people who would like to join the programme.
