York St John University

Explore independent cinema through screenings, industry masterclasses, pitching sessions, VR and games labs, and live performances. Join events in person across York or online, with a podcasting lounge among the festival’s spaces.

Undergraduate applicants can get admissions-team feedback on their personal statements, then explore campus, meet academics at drop-ins and hear from support teams. The visit finishes with a walking tour to York’s Christmas markets.

Explore specialist facilities, meet academic and support staff, and join subject talks, campus tours and accommodation viewings. An online schedule of talks, tours and drop-ins becomes available around two weeks before each event.
