Oxford IQ Academy’s 2027 summer courses are residential academic programmes for students aged 13–15, held in Oxford and Cambridge. The courses are designed for ambitious young scholars who want a more rigorous, tutorial-led experience than the standard secondary school curriculum, with an emphasis on guided inquiry, conceptual understanding, and intellectual confidence.
Across the programme, students can choose from a wide range of subject tracks, including PPE and Classics, Engineering, Maths, Law, Business & Entrepreneurship, Global Healthcare & Medicine, Psychology, History, Science & Technology, English Literature & Creative Writing, and Architecture & Sustainable Urban Development. Teaching is delivered through Oxbridge-style tutorials, seminars, debates, collaborative projects, and practical problem-solving activities.
The summer residential experience is structured as two-week cohorts and takes place in an Oxford University college, with Cambridge also referenced for parts of the offer. The page also explains that the Oxford Essay serves as the academic assessment route for merit-based scholarships and subsidised placements on the summer courses.
